godzilla

bourbon and cigarettes

buddy the world ain’t the same any more

all of the names and the numbers

changing so fast i can’t fly

walking in circles

nobody knows where they’re from any more

we sit then we stand then we eat

some times we even know why

.

guns and a corset

a list of the things i would leave on the floor

i’m waiting for veils to be lifted

dancing on point in a room full of snares

blood on the minaret

certainly jesus would love this new war

the winds blow yet no sands have shifted

we’re running with scissors on prayers

.

all of us children

forgotten treasures laid waste in the dust

ashes to ashes etcetera

i’m not the man that I was

.

all are included

killing our prophets we do what we must

infants are starving in brooklyn

i’m crossing my heart and i’m hoping to die

.

CHANT

my lizard brain has taken over

i’m not the man that I was

food clothing shelter and sex
