my dreams are hellish horses

done with the grazing and oh

so ready for the main attraction

(gestures with arms guiding

the line of sight to one side

of her unguided gaze)

if you please i give you the

center ring but i will not be

your dancing bear in this or

any other plane of being one

with the universe will shred

anyone’s sensibilities molecule

by molecule all of it was brought

together and the beauty of it

(she breathes deeply clucking

her tongue with pleasure)

the beauty of it is in the force

that keeps it all exactly as far

apart

as all of it needs

to keep it all from collapsing

(palms brought together

fingers interweave double

helix tight and allowed to

remain conjoined)

collapsing from the weight

of the foot fall malevolent

the forged iron sincerity of

a savage gravity unyielding

as their heads toss back the

frightening open eyed with

steam from the nostrils atop

the wicked bit-induced

laughter

(she allows her balled hands

to fall into her lap and allows

for entropy to disentangle her)
